The Balluff model BOS0031 (serial number BOS 21M-PA-ID10-S4) is a compact, cube-shaped diffuse reflection photoelectric sensor measuring only 15 × 50 × 42.5 mm, yet capable of reliably detecting a wide range of targets within a range of 50–2000 mm. Its infrared LED, combined with the principle of energy-based diffuse reflection, achieves high-contrast recognition without the need for a reflector. A 270° rotatable optical window allows for flexible mounting angle adjustment, truly achieving a "small footprint, large field of view" solution.
